This recycling shop for "kids' stuff with previous experience" buys and sells gently used children's clothing, equipment and furniture.

They sell used childrens clothing, toys, books, etc. I have seen strollers, baby joggers, and other things too. We looked around but didn't see anything we liked. My daughter did find a few books that she liked and we bought for less than a couple of dollars. I have never tried to take any children's items in for money. Recommend looking over anything your interested in very closely for stains or damage before purchase.

Once Upon A Child is basically a thrift store for kids. By thrift store, I mean they sell used clothes, toys, and random junk. They also buy stuff, instead of just taking donations. Well I thought, I'll take my daughter there, bring some of her old clothes that no longer fit her and sell them, then use the money to buy her new clothes. But it didn't work like that. I brought about 12 shirts, maybe 5 pairs of pants, a couple dresses, stuff like that. They looked at them and offered me $5 for everything. I asked if instead I could make a trade or get some more money on store credit instead of getting cash, but they said no. The clothes they sell are over priced too. Like $5 for one shirt, but they are all used and not in good condition. I figured she could have some cheap clothes to wear as play clothes outside, but I didn't even sell them the clothes. I'd rather throw them in the trash, before I'd let these people money off of my daughter. I bought her a few shirts there that she wanted, but I would never go back there again. PROS: a thrift store, fun to look around CONS: over priced, try to rip off sellers

Good for buying, not for selling. by Tra P. at InsiderPages

You can get clothes in good condition for a good price. Some name brand clothes in great condition for a much lower price than you would pay new. You have to be careful, though, I have seen stains and holes! We've found some good deals on toys, too. Selling, on the other hand, I do not reccommend. We took quite a bit of stuff in, waited for a long time, and then they wanted to give us next to nothing for the stuff. Seriously, we could have done better having a yard sale!
