- When to Go
Want a little extra guidance? Paper Source hosts various workshops regularly. Learn everything from expert gift wrapping techniques to book making and how to craft holiday cards. Call or visit for a class schedule; fees start at around $35, depending on the class.
Chock full of artful papers and craft ideas, customers are allowed to create customized invitations, stationary and gifts at this beautiful boutique.ContributorIn ShortFounded in 1983 by Sue Lindstrom, this Chicago-based connoisseur of all things paper has since expanded to nine states beyond Illinois. Each location is still steeped in the genuine ideal that papermaking, and paper in general, is an art. Therefore, the shops stock an unlimited variety of playful colors--fuse green, confetti yellow--and a complete range of sizes for any project. Sheets of decorative paper are delicate and thin, others tough and full of fiber. Some have traveled from as far as Nepal and Japan, others may have been crafted from 100% recyclable materials at a mill nearby. Either way, you'll find all the materials you need to bind a book, make a photo album or create your own note cards. There's also a lively selection of cards, rubber stamps, calendars, address books, journals, plastic toys, candles, picture frames, ribbon, calligraphy pens and more.
Can always find something great! by Ian P. at InsiderPages
Citysearch UserI love going into this store! You know you are walking into something special when you first see their windows. You walk by and they have the coolest displays set up all using... (you guessed it)... paper! I love seeing such creativity and it just gets my mind stirring. What can I make??
They have anything you would ever need for any craft project and in addition they have a unique collection of greeting cards and gifts. I often find great stocking stuffers around the Christmas season.
I highly suggest Paper Source for all your art or crafting needs!

Citysearch UserThis place has the best selection of paper for such a great cost. Their staff is always so friendly and the most informative and helpful. They are so willing to assist you with selection, projects, design, cutting, assembly, whatever your paper needs are. The store also carries a wide variety of cute things you won't find in many places. It is such a great craft store, I have to stop by every time I am in DC.
